Dawn Macandili-Catindig is the new captain of Cignal HD Spikers
The Cignal HD Spikers will kick off their campaign in the return of the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference with their newly appointed team captain in Dawn Macandili-Catindig.
The veteran libero took on the reins of leading the HD Spikers in the remainder of the conference after the departure of Ces Molina, who opted to not renew her contract.
This is just one of the many developments as Cignal looks to rebuild and strengthen their roster count with the addition of NCAA Season 98 beach volleyball MVP and former Chery Tiggo outside hitter Cha Cuñada.
The 28-year-old De La Salle University product, along with her teammates in the likes of Vanie Gandler, Jov Fernandez, Judith Abil, and rookie Ishie Lalongisip, must brace for the resilient and win-hungry Galeries Towers bannered by fellow Alas Pilipinas Julia Coronel who will be playing as a setter and a spiker.
Macandili-Catindig will lead the HD Spikers in their bid to progress their record against the Galeries Tower Highrisers on Tuesday, January 21, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
