Cha Cruz-Behag returns to volleyball scene as Petro Gazz assistant coach

Cha Cruz-Behag is returning to the volleyball scene, but in a different capacity as she joined Petro Gazz as an assistant coach ahead of the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference this month.

The Angels announced Cruz-Behag's arrival as the former volleyball star looks to bolster the sidelines led by Japanese head coach Koji Tsuzurabara.

The 36-year-old last played for the now-disbanded F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the 2023 PVL 1st All-Filipino Conference, when the team finished with a bronze medal.

With her expertise and knowledge of the game, Cruz-Behag is expected to be a huge help to Petro Gazz.

After finishing third in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference, Petro Gazz will look to defend its crown in the upcoming Reinforced Conference.
