After 11 years of donning the red and black jersey of Cignal, Jheck Dionela is embarking on a new chapter of her volleyball journey as she signs with the Farm Fresh Foxies ahead of the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.

Farm Fresh announced the development on Saturday, October 19, by welcoming the decorated libero through a social media post.

“After a long and historic run as an HD Spiker, proficient libero Jheck Dionela is ready to add a new chapter to her tale as she brings her talents to the orange side of things,” said Farm Fresh. “The newest Foxy in town is fast, slick, and bursting with experience.”

Dionela was the only player in the volleyball history to spend more than a decade in a club team. The defensive specialist parted ways with the HD Spikers after 11 years playing for their roster since the defunct Philippine Super Liga in 2013.

The HD Spikers will now lean on Dawn Macandili-Catindig to protect the floor.

Since joining last year, Farm Fresh has not advanced to the PVL semifinals. Akari eliminated them after they advanced to the Reinforced quarterfinals.

The 33-year-old Dionela will bring her veteran smarts and is ready to anchor the Foxies’ defense to eclipse their eighth and fifth place finishes in the Reinforced and Invitational Conferences in the third season of Farm Fresh in the professional volleyball league.
