Myla Pablo showed her exceptional veteran form as the Petro Gazz Angels toppled the Akari Chargers in straight sets, 28-26, 29-27, 25-18, in the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Thursday, December 5, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Pablo put up 15 points off 13 attacks, a block, and a service ace, showcasing her offensive prowess to earn her recognition as the Player of the Game.

Petro Gazz's offense was underpinned by her timely scoring and court presence, particularly in the grueling first two sets.

Reigning conference MVP Brooke Van Sickle posted 19 points, along with 13 excellent digs and five excellent receptions, as the Angels improved to 3-1 in the standings.

Meanwhile, Ivy Lacsina’s 21-point eruption went down for naught, extending Akari’s losing skid to three matches.

Petro Gazz will aim to record their fourth win when they face the PLDT High Speed Hitters, while Akari will attempt to bounce back against the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, both on December 10 at Philsports Arena in Pasig.
