Kyle Negrito delivers balanced attacks for Creamline vs Capital1

Kyle Negrito steered Creamline’s balanced offensive attack as they took down the Capital1 Solar Spikers in straight sets, 25-19, 25-19, 25-18, in the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Tuesday, January 21.

The 28-year-old playmaker tossed 14 excellent sets as the Cool Smashers clinched their fifth consecutive win, making them the lone undefeated team in the conference.

Creamline improved to a 5-0 record as Tots Carlos made a triumphant return to action after missing the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference due to a knee injury.

Despite sitting out the entire second set, Carlos finished with 10 points built on eight attacks.

Creamline had to defeat a formidable Capital1 team in the first two sets before sweeping the third set to win and ruin Trisha Genesis' Solar Spikers debut.

Jema Galanza poured 12 markers anchored on 10 attacks and two aces, along with 10 excellent digs, while Bea De Leon and Alyssa Valdez added eight and seven markers, respectively.

Creamline will aim to tally their sixth win when they take on the Nxled Chameleons on Tuesday, January 28, at the same venue.
